We worship together every Sunday of the year at 10:00 a.m. with praise, prayer, and song. Our members and friends serve as readers, our children and youth are actively present at our services.
We gather to hear God’s word and relate God’s word to our lives. We search for ways to serve others as the body of Jesus Christ. We believe in God’s extravagant welcome and God’s abundant grace.
CCNB is part of the United Church of Christ, a denomination that welcomes everyone. Click on this great video and get sense of what a UCC congregation can be. The church in the video is much larger than CCNB, however, the spirit is the same. Take two minutes to watch A place like this
Every week there is a story for children and youth and Sunday school for pre-K- 9th grade. There is childcare for little ones too! After the service there is a time of refreshment with plenty of food for all. Every week we are amazed at the miraculous catch of homemade delights!
At CCNB we help you discover the gifts God has given to you, and help you learn how to use your gifts. Services last about an hour. The attire is casual. We laugh, we sing happy birthday, we celebrate when our children and youth win tournaments, or school awards. We want to be more aware of how God connects with our lives each and every day.
There are all different ages of people at CCNB and many kinds of families; single people, foster families, grandparents with children, retired folk, LGTBQ folk, people with accessibility issues, special needs, people who have grown up in church, and those who are learning to worship for the first time.
The minister’s meditations can be requested by contacting CCNB or Rev. Talbott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
