Worship With Us

We worship together every Sunday of the year at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom or in person with praise, prayer, music, and song.

We have called a settled pastor to lead us! Rev. Kate Kennedy began her ministry at CCNB in December of 2023. Kate brings with her a passion for vital, inter-generational worship, pastoral care, justice work, and radical hospitality. Kate was ordained in 2019, and received her Masters of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology in 2015. Born and raised in New Hampshire, she spent two years in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where she completed a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at UNC Hospitals. Kate loves the church, especially when church means getting to pray and eat and sing with friends and neighbors. Kate lives with her spouse Rufy, son Callum, and two cats, Simon and Mateo. She enjoys yoga, cooking, and playing lawn games.

If you have any questions about CCNB, or would simply like to talk to a pastor, you can reach Kate at pastorkatekennedy@gmail.com.

Our musician prepares music that complements the theme of the day. Our worshipers participate as readers and liturgists. We pray together for those we know, and those we do not know in our communities and the wider world. After the service there is a time of gathering and conversation. Services last about an hour, and the attire is casual.

There are all different ages of people at CCNB and many kinds of families; single people, foster families, grandparents with children, retired folk, LGTBQ folk, people with accessibility issues, special needs, people who have grown up in church, and those who are learning to worship for the first time.

We search for ways to serve others as the body of Christ. We believe in God’s extravagant welcome and God’s abundant grace. CCNB is part of the United Church of Christ, a denomination that welcomes everyone.

If you are searching for God, the love of Christ, and a community to walk with on your journey, join us for worship – Sunday at 10 am.

The welcome is wide, the welcome is real.  Join us any Sunday.
